How do you charge for your services?
Pricing is based on the type of work required, the time involved and any complexity of the job. I am always clear about costs upfront, so you know what to expect before any work begins.
Do you supply your own tools?
Yes. I arrive with all the tools needed to carry out the job properly. If specific fixings or parts are required, I will let you know in advance.
Do I need to be at home while the work is carried out?
Not always. As long as access is arranged and everything is clear beforehand, work can often be completed while you are out. This can be discussed when booking.
What areas do you cover?
I cover Hertfordshire, Bedfordshire, North London and surrounding areas. If you are unsure whether I cover your location, please get in touch.
Are you insured?
Yes. I am insured for the work I carry out in your home.
What types of jobs do you not take on?
I do not carry out gas, electrical or structural work, or anything that requires specialist certification. If you are unsure whether a job is suitable, I am always happy to advise before booking.
Can you assemble items that are not listed on your website?
Yes. The lists on the site cover the most common items, but they are not exhaustive. If your item is not listed, please contact me with the details and I will let you know if I can help.
Can multiple jobs be done in one visit?
Absolutely. Many customers combine flat-pack assembly, small repairs or pressure washing in one visit. This can often be more efficient and cost-effective.
How far in advance do I need to book?
Availability can vary, but I recommend getting in touch as soon as you know what work you need done. I will always let you know the earliest available slot.
Do you work alongside ClearSpace?
Yes. I work closely with ClearSpace, run by my partner Ashlea, who provides storage, decluttering, packing and end of tenancy support. Where needed, jobs can be coordinated between both services to offer a more complete home solution.
